Grown all over the tropical world ginger produces a spicy root that is hot and nourishing. The ginger we use in , ,and our Chai teas, is grown in India where where it soaks up the sun giving it intense heat and in the roots.
What are the benefits of ginger?
Ginger is fantastically warming and pungent. Its spicy nature makes it an excellent aid for healthy digestion, bright eyes and warm hands.
How we grow, source and harvest ginger
It’s in the 1,000-mile ribbon of mountains known as the Western Ghats that much of our ginger is grown – an area designated by the IUCN as one of the world’s richest biodiversity hotspots.
In its native home, ginger is surrounded by a diverse range of medicinal and culinary crops where it soaks up the sun giving it intense heat.
When the beautiful yellow flowers of the ginger plant appear, it’s a sign that it should be harvested. The farmers we work with will dig out the root, which is dried before being blended by our team of experts.
We capture its fiery nature, and harness its gingery-glow in a wide variety of our teas and supplements including our warming and invigorating , , as well as in supplements like Vitalise.
